First night I used them it felt like they were rubbing on my big toes at the end so I removed them. For the next 3 nights I tried wearing a thin pair of ankle socks underneath but had to remove during the night as my toes had gone numb or had terrible pins and needles. Also tried reducing tightness of top band around my calf but made no difference. I think it may have been this band that caused the numbness. Think this will Will work better for plantar fasciitis than achilles tendonitis. Would recommend buying one and trying out before spending on a second sock. Positives - Does what is described. For the cost it is worth a try. Ideally the seam wouldn't be on the nail line at the end of the foot (more comfy if it were higher up the foot). Also the velcro around the calf would be better if it was lower as it's scratchy and could do with some material to protect the skin.
