This task is outlined with the included directions, every fixture is different. This is absolutely a must for the light to work properly. Once that is handled the lumen output on the new unit compared to the old fluorescent tubes is astonishing - easily double the output. Perfect part of the spectrum as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Twice as bright for half the power *by R***Y on Reviewed in the United States on August 26, 2020* Installed these in an old Coleman two-tube fluorescent lantern. Doubled the brightness at least with less power draw. They are set to reflect at 180 degrees instead of 360 degrees from a fluorescent tube. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars 6 inch LED Tubes *by S***A on Reviewed in the United States on May 9, 2021* Used them to convert a 30 year old flourescent lantern and it worked! Brighter than the tubes that were in there. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/148832111-illuminous-led-f4t5-eq-to-4w-cfl-tube-lamp-3w](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/148832111-illuminous-led-f4t5-eq-to-4w-cfl-tube-lamp-3w) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
