**Q: What gauge is the cable on this range of products (e.g. is the cable 12/3 sjtw)?**
A: I have not measured gauge, but description states, Peak Performance - Rated at 15-amps with heavy-duty 14 AWG copper wiring to maximum power flow and full-sized AC port prongs for maximum conductivity. And I am very happy with the purchase.

**Q: Is this UL listed or licensed by any other electrical code?**
A: GCP1EX is UL certified.

**Q: Shouldnt this be the opposite as far as male and female ends?**
A: No. There are other products with the male & female the other way around. This is exactly the way it should be.

**Q: Will this run a 1500watt/ 14amp heater or will the cord get too hot?**
A: The GCP1EX is rated for 15A.
