It would have been an elegant filing solution, if only it had arrived in tact. I ordered this item three times. It arrived damaged each time. After the 2nd shipment, I spoke to someone at Amazon, hoping that the 3rd shipment would arrive undamaged. The rep contacted shipping while on the phone with me, so I had high hopes. The third shipment arrived cracked, with a hole in it, and with one of the hanging notches broken off. I gave up. There are studs on the back of each piece that lock into the piece about it, locking them together into one unit for hanging. The studs are weak. Two arrived broken (the studs, not the file holders). With a bit of glue I was able to secure the 3 pieces together. Each vertical file has two plastic pieces on them that enable the files to be hooked into one other. When we opened the boxes and took out the files, each of these plastic pieces were broken off so that the files can not be fit together. In order for them to be stacked vertical as seen, without those plastic pieces that are meant to connect the files, one is left to attach each file to the wall by drilling screws into the wall with each file separately. I would not recommend this product to anyone. The company packages them in such a way that they are damaged as soon as they are packaged. Amazon was nice enough to credit me even though the boxes had been thrown away and I was unable to return them.
