When it arrived I could tell immediately that it was made of better materials as it was heavier and had a more polished look to it. It easily snapped into place and had a more secure feel to it's grip on the lever in the dryer mechanism. I've have no problems with it thus far. I definitely recommend spending just a few more dollars to get this knob over the flimsy, entirely plastic, cheapest option you'll see offered.
