Excellent product and outstanding customer service. - This is my 8th Senville mini split, I converted my home to Senville mini splits after my 20+ year old R-22 heat pumps died over the winter. I have contacted Senville customer service on three occasions, the first time I had questions related to the power options and asked my question through their website. I received a response in less than 24 hours, my questions were thoroughly answered and numerous links to related articles came attached to the response. Very helpful. Second occasion was during a installation and I called ther customer service, I was directed to the appropriate person within a few minutes and I had my issue resolved within a 10 to 15 munute phone call - again very helpful. The third time was email through desertcart - my 18000 btu unit arrived damaged by the carrier. The issue was resolved with two very brief emails and I had a replacement unit on my porch on the second day after I reported the damage. This company is very responsive to customers. The products I have installed - 2 - 18000 btu units and -6- 9000 btu units have all been installed without issue. I shortened -7- of the linesets and lengthened one lineset. No issues. The outside units are robust and run nearly silent, the inside units are practically silent and in heat or AC perform flawlessly. We have a 9000 btu unit installed in our livingroom within 6 feet of the TV - no issues - silent. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this company and their product.
Review: Quiet, reliable, strong and elegant - This is my 3rd mini split, it went together pretty straightforward. You will need skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC to get the best results. I always pull a vacuum on the lines once the copper pipe is hooked up and then release the Freon from the outside condenser unit which means you need a vacuum pump to do it right. My previous units were pioneer but that brand name isn’t available, this is almost identical with the biggest change being the remote control which is not as well laid out as my pioneer remotes. Otherwise this unit worked perfectly from the start, it is super quiet, cold, powerful, and the controls and calibrations are spot on. These units are so much better than the window units it’s unbelievable, and those hose types are a joke in comparison. Cost is close to double but you get 4x the machine and the smart climate controls and quietness is worth every penny. I’ve had my other units for over a year with zero problems, and the heating ability in winter has relegated our old wall units to the dustbin, no more burnt dust in the air or hugging a wall heater for warmth. Just nice clean heat throughout the room.These also look nice and are far more elegant inside and out. Wish I’d had these years ago.

**Q: Hello, does this come with the installation kit? and the remote handheld thermostadt? Also is it pre-charged?**
A: Not only does vacuum have to be pulled but it needs to hold that negative pressure for 8-12 hours. I have installed 5 of these units, I purchased a vacuum pump and all gauges. I had a local hvac guy help on the first one and I had learned more (online research) than he knew about these units. First off the local guys do not want to install these especially if they did not sell it to you. When they are installed properly they are really amazing and cost very little to use.

**Q: Could average Joe Homeowner hook this up ?**
A: Intalled the 12,000 BTW (120vac) unit myself.  Eazy Peazy -  Installed an outdoor 120vac outlet,  used a 10guage 120vac cord on the outdoor unit.  Rented a vaccum pump for pennies.  Installation was flawless.    I'll be installing more of these soon.   Don't let anyone tell you this can't be DIY.   Plenty of installation videos for Mini Split HVAC systems on Utube University - Watched a couple,  and it made the actual install much faster with no problems.

**Q: Can I connect a thermostat to this unit instead of the remote?**
A: So if you lose the remote you can still adjust the unit. Somepeople like the thermostat on the wall.

**Q: What are the temperature ranges this can be set on?**
A: To add to the above, there is 'engineering mode' which can be accessed to change some settings.  Using that mode it is possible to use temperature compensation to move this range up or down to apx 11F in either direction (this mode is in C regardless of how your unit displays and will range from -6 C to 6 C which is about -11F to 11F )  in either direction for a work around if you need to set it above or below its limits.    Though this is only a work around as now the temp you set will be need to shifted by that amount.  This is useful if you like to set the temp below the 62F limit but the freeze protect mode is too low.  By using, as by setting Temp Compensation to -6, setting the thermostat to 62F will act 11 F (6 C) cooler so 51F.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Only wish I got is a few yrs sooner

So it's only been 2 months. I love these things. I do not have an HVAC system. I'm in a 1925 city row home with radiator heats and window AC's. I finally pulled the plug and got 2 in June 6th. I had an HVAC tech install it. Took him(and another guy) 12hrs. One for main floor one for the basement. The basement unit on dry does superb. The unit upstairs is so quiet. There are no hot spots. Not even the kitxhen when frying steaks. It's so damn comfortable that I have to keep it on 78° so as I don't chill. 74 and 76 are too cool.
