This unique, handmade, double-ply mulberry paper is specially ordered with two layers of our mulberry paper #2s sticking together with 54gsm thickness. Also good for screen or lamp design, because of the heavy thickness it will let less light coming through and show less the inner frames, so to show your colorful artworks better. For printing, double mulberry paper is suitable for Giclee printer, silk screen printing, etching, and block printing. Works well with most water-based art media including watercolors and fluid acrylics. Resists bleeding and shows color brilliantly, appropriate for landscapes, animals, plants and flowers, etc. Perfect for Sumi-e or Chinese brush painting, and also good for Calligraphy, Mounting(as backing paper), Book Binding, Rubbing, Stamping, Kite, Lantern, Window Covering and Collage etc.

My order arrived quickly. The paper was rolled, covered in a plastic bag, and placed in a sturdy tube/box.It unfurled nicely without a wrinkle or buckle to be found. The paper itself is pressed so it takes media beautifully, and being double thick, frays nicely when torn. This might be stating the obvious, but it doesn't handle being over worked or correction very well - being mulberry - and will fuzz if you aren't careful. I am very happy with my purchase.
