Its a little plastic pedestal with a rubber base that holds our Google Home Mini's. The Google Home mini fits perfectly in the holder of the pedestal and actually looks nice. Dark color, pretty much matches everything. Sturdy plastic. I expect it to last forever. Will order more if I ever need more and would recommend them.I didnt notice much difference in sound quality which is one of the things the description mentions but just by looking at it, you can presume that there probably is a difference. It raises it off the ground and points the speaker directly to you if thats what you want so I would say thats still a valid claim.Good product, processed and delivered within 2 days with Prime. Great price. I do not know how well these stands will work with the Google Home Mini although the online description sounds like it will work with either speaker. They are not heavy as they are made of plastic but they are very simple and functional. The speaker rests in the cradle of the stand and the wire is placed in a slot on the base. When you install these you will be putting your speaker in upside down so the volume controls will be reversed.
