Suitable for a variety of situations Review: $100 beer can detector - Im an adult and bought this as a first metal detector to just mess around on a recent trip to Alabama. Im 5'7" and is perfect for me without having to hunch over. The screen and sounds are very clear! And once you start learning the different modes it is very easily manipulated to find exactly what your looking for. Takes two 9v batteries and last roughly 10-14 hours. The only thing missing is the forearm strap to make it perfectly comfortable, but for the price i will just make my own strap. In three days of searching i found over $5 in modern American coins(1c/5c/10c/25c)ranging from 1964 to newer and a bunch load of other metals including a pair of Oakley sunglasses that are worth about $100 next to a beer can. All in all 5 stars for a $60 detector!!!!!! Review: Fun for kids - Great for kids to explore and discover things in the dirt and sand. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07SJ4X989 | | Adjustable Length | Yes | | Are Batteries Required | Yes | | Batteries Required? | Yes | | Brand | AVID POWER | | Brand Name | AVID POWER | | Customer Reviews | 3.5 out of 5 stars 54 Reviews | | Display Type | LCD | | International Protection Rating | IP54 | | Material | Metal | | Material Type | Metal | | UPC | 765756397001 | ## Product Details - **Adjustable Length:** Yes - **Batteries Required?:** Yes - **Brand:** AVID POWER - **International Protection Rating:** IP54 - **Material:** Metal ## Images ![Avid Power Metal Detector for Adults Kids, Waterproof Metal Detectors with LCD Display, Pinpoint Function, Discrimination Mode, Distinctive Audio Tone and Carrying Bag - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71yeLHMb4sL.jpg) ![Avid Power Metal Detector for Adults Kids, Waterproof Metal Detectors with LCD Display, Pinpoint Function, Discrimination Mode, Distinctive Audio Tone and Carrying Bag - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61yRjLH1SmL.jpg) ![Avid Power Metal Detector for Adults Kids, Waterproof Metal Detectors with LCD Display, Pinpoint Function, Discrimination Mode, Distinctive Audio Tone and Carrying Bag - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61uqvWlprKL.jpg) ![Avid Power Metal Detector for Adults Kids, Waterproof Metal Detectors with LCD Display, Pinpoint Function, Discrimination Mode, Distinctive Audio Tone and Carrying Bag - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81xDIJ2g4qL.jpg) ![Avid Power Metal Detector for Adults Kids, Waterproof Metal Detectors with LCD Display, Pinpoint Function, Discrimination Mode, Distinctive Audio Tone and Carrying Bag - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/816CBRY4scL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ $100 beer can detector *by J***S on October 8, 2019* Im an adult and bought this as a first metal detector to just mess around on a recent trip to Alabama.
