Regardless, it sure beats my previous ball catch, where the spring and ball would pop out and land on my tiled floor. So I always try to give my honest, unbiased opinion.If this review was helpful to you please press YES in the link below. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Replacement Door Ball Catch Replacement *by K***S on Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2016* After looking high and low locally after one of these catches broke on my pantry door, found them at Amazon. The replacement catch was just slightly thinner around shaft and a tiny bit longer than the original, but would have still worked fine. However, we took off the metal casing from the old catch and put it around the shaft of the new one. Problem solved. This catch also does not hold the door as firmly as the original, but I actually prefer that because while it still keeps the door shut, opening the door is a lot easier. Before I had to pull really hard on handle to get the door to open, now it just glides open.
