My Windows7 operating system does not recognize this device nor does the supplied "driver" cd provide any driver or software that can be used to view/update drivers or firmware. Essentially you're on your own trying to get this to work with your laptop...I actually had better luck on the tv. This device might be easier to use if it came with a remote like some other models since this device was clearly made outside of the United States therefore not US centric design.
