What a horrible mistake I made to use this product in my new fridge/freezer just so the ice would taste better. Now everything in there tastes awful; it permeates even the frozen food. I am using charcoal and baking soda and I still can't get it back to normal. I had cleaned and cleaned but with no results. One day I completely shut the fridge, remove all and washed with baking soda water and rinsed all. The fridge was off for about 5 hours and when I turned it on I also placed one Smelleze pouch in the freezer section and one in the fridge section.I am thinking the pouches have been the main reason that the odor is gone because I had completely cleaned the fridge before and the odor remained.
