This case holds the thermometer safe and secure. The fit is very snug - the thermometer can only sit "on its side" - which prevents us from storing extra probe covers in the case's inner pouch. Still though, the case performs its required function. Review: Perfect size/fit - This is not too small that you have to shove the thermometer in, and not too big that it will slide or bounce around inside. One millimeter shorter or longer would have made it less perfect. Nice hardshell for protection. I purchased again and then bought the carrying case and have had no problems since then. It's been a few months and the case has held up really well. I've had no problems with the zipper. The case is hard on the outside and padded on the inside so I don't worry about the thermometer getting knocked around a bit.
