I cannot believe a 2 year old could break this... I don't think I could break this - even if I decided to skate with it or something crazy. It is a great sand toy, and we love it as such. **Q: how big is it?** A: The length of the truck is a little bit smaller than a ruler (about 10 inches). It's a little over half a ruler high (about 7 inches), and about 7 inches wide. **Q: did they fix the problem of it not working on hard wood floors** A: Works fine on our hardwood floors. We've never had a single issue with this toy. I'm very happy with it; so are my kids. **Q: how big is truck?** A: I can guess...I gave it to my grandson who lives in another state. Good for a 1-2-3 year old. Approximately 12-15 inches long and 6 - 8 inches tall? The size is bigger than you can imagine from the picture. It's well built and my baby loves to play with it. After lot of throwing and dropping, it is as sturdy as can be. It is very boy-ish and would definitely recommend for any boy. It has no music or is not batter operated .
