We have the Neato programmed for every day and clean the filter every day (roughly 3000 SqFt). We change to a new filter every month and it needs it! The filter material starts to break down (fuzzes). No problem in a new filter each month as this (Neato D85) is one of the best investments we ever made! **Q: Are you able to clean this filters with water?** A: Yes, you CAN clean them with water. They are paper, but it is a very sturdy paper. I wash mine once a month and let them air dry for 24 hours. This may make the filter not last as long, but better than sucking in so much dust. I live in Arizona, believe me - we have dust. I've had mine since the beginning of October, so the filter has been washed twice now without any issues. Hope that helps. **Q: Does this work on the D3?** A: It does indeed and is a very good filter. Be sure you get the Genuine Neato product. Amazon direct is a good source. There are some counterfeit items in the market that do not fit and can cause issues. **Q: can it work for Botvac70** A: Hi there, yes it can.The Botvac series robots are all the same. The difference between 70, 75, 80 and 85 is only the accessories bundled together. For instance, 80 come with blade brush while 85 came with combo brush and one blade brush spare. Both bring the magnet boundary marker. So you can switch your normal filter with these high performance as well as you can switch your blade brush for a combo brush. Accessories are all same since the robot is the same for all Botvac Series. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars NOT OEM - But they do work the same *by C***Y on Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2018* These are NOT Neato brand (not OEM) but they appear to be very similar quality and after several runs, I can attest that these filters function nearly the same as the original Neato brand filters. The plastic is a little bit lighter (less dense) but the filter material is the exact same thickness. Fiber material may be different, but I don't have the tools to measure/test that. These filters work the same as the Neato brand ones in that they seal tightly around the edges and allow the machine to collect dirt while still breathing through the filter and so far has the same amount of suction, even after several runs of the vacuum. I say "nearly the same" because my experience with cleaning them out is slightly different than the OEM versions. We use compressed air to blow out the filters to prolong their life and it's possible that because these are new, they do not release as much dust as a thoroughly used one would, but dust does seem to "stick" to the fibers more than the OEM filter that I just replaced; however, with that being said, I have not noticed a lack in performance. 4 stars (and not 5) only because the item description and photographs claim these are OEM and so I was outright lied to which doesn't sit well with me from a business or company. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Neato *by T***T on Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2023* I love this cleaner. (By the 3rd or 4th use) I run my vacuum through most of the 1700 sq ft main floor of my home daily, sometimes twice daily since I have a mechanic husband, 2 teens, a tween, a toddler, and a German Shepherd dog - and mostly carpet (cheap, builder grade, light colored carpet - Yuck!). I replaced the original filter with one of these approximately 2 months ago, and it's still going strong. I empty the bin each time I vaccuum, and occasionally use a good hand-held vacuum with great suction, to clean "Rosie", her dirt bin, and this filter. I couldn't vacuum out the original filter very thoroughly. These filters really seem to get good milage out of them!
