Do you have to cut 2 pieces? One for the wall and one for the object then press together?** A: Cut your first strip the length that will fit on your object, then cut a second the same length. You are correct, you need one for the wall and one for the object. I find it easiest to cut both, stick them together, remove the backing on one side, stick it to your object to hang, then remove the backing on the other side and then stick it to the wall. Think of putting a picture on the wall. Cut 2 pieces. Stick the adhesive surface of one piece to the wall, then the same with adhesive side of other piece to the back of the picture. Then press the two velcro sides together. NOTE.
