Review: Almost Perfect! - My nearly 15-year-old B&D corded drill finally went to that home improvement toolbox in the sky, and I needed to get a new one for the small chores around the house. This one came with a bunch of stuff including two batteries. It's a drill and it does drill stuff well. It has a good weight, it's nicely balanced, and it works. It allows me to get in spaces that I couldn't with the corded drill, and that means that I've been able to catch up on "Honey Do" chores. The only downside, and this is important for those in the US, is that the drills, sockets, etc., are all metric. Since it's advertised as a 3/8" drill, I had naturally assumed that those parts would be in standard units, too, but that's not the case. But it's not a problem. I still have the drills, etc., from my DeWalt kits that I had purchased for use with my old B&D, and they work just fine. It's important to me because a lot of things are in standard measurements, not metric, but at least from the drill's point of view, that doesn't matter. Longevity remains to be seen since it's replacing a very old American standard. But it works well and I can recommend it with the caveat.

**Q: I wonder if it can install furniture? I want to buy one for my boyfriend. We are moving recently！**
A: Yes. Assuming you are talking about assembling furniture, the drill has a clutch  that you turn to set the "strength" of the drill (its the numbered dial close to the trigger). You want to set the "strength" of the drill low while using it to drive screws into shelving units and such that are not made of wood, so that the drill does not damage (strip out) the material you are driving screws into.
Just start at a low number and increase it until the screws are snug. Most unassembled furniture these days are made of pressed wood pulp, not very strong stuff. Good Luck!

A: u can drill holes in metal==wood==plastic it is heavy duty drill that has a lot of power and torque to drill all kinds of holes =ok

A: There are two rechargeable batteries. They were already charged when I received my Drill Set. Decent drill set imo.

This was a great deal and works great overall, and I do love having the case and 2 batteries. The torque isn't the greatest however, and I subtracted one star for that. I had to resort to my old plug in drill when I needed major torque, using 3 inch screws connected a couple 2 x 4's.
