Plus, their shallow mounting depth ensures they're a fit in a wide variety of vehicles too. Step up to aftermarket quality Say goodbye to flimsy factory woofers and whizzer cones. Sturdy yet sensitive polypropylene/carbon fiber woofers and butyl rubber surrounds deliver satisfying performance while enduring the extreme temperatures of life in your car doors. The 3/4" aluminum alloy dome tweeters bring the high range to life with the crisp detail that's been missing from your factory sound. Those highs are enhanced with a Wave Guide Lens that directs highs toward your ears for better stereo imaging and soundstaging. Note: These speakers won't work with aftermarket car stereos, unless you add a 2-ohm stable outboard amplifier to your system. PowerBass designed these speakers for use with a 2-ohm factory system.
