I first bought it for my wife 5 or 6 years ago -- for some reason, I thought back then it was spelled Pur (no e) -- and was pleasantly surprised how much she liked it. (Everyone knows what a gamble it is for us men to buy fragrances that our women have not pre-approved!) But if you/she haven't smelled it, I'd suggest trying to find it at your local department store and ask them for a whiff.
