I'm gonna use it for calligraphy and with either higgins eternal ink or sumi ink.** A: This is one of my favorite papers to use for pointed pen calligraphy. Sumi ink is my go-to black, other colors& brands like Walnut, Iron gal, many inks work lovely with this paper. Plus you can see your guide sheet underneath if you are using it for practice. Reviews aren't accurate. *by M***E on July 15, 2021* MAKE SURE YOU'RE USING THE CORRECT SIDE OF THE PAPER! This paper is great for alcohol markers, and the brand overall is great. I've been using their mixed media paper for everything before I got alcohol markers. Using the mixed media, the colors are too dark and saturated, so I got this marker paper. The colors are a lot more accurate and vibrant, and the bleeding is more controlled. Don't let the negative reviews deter you from this paper or brand, they're using the wrong side. Highly recommend for the value and quality. The only issue is that the outside of the pad came a little damaged and sticky, but that's not the product's fault, just Amazon's.
