I installed them in a 2002 Infiniti V8. Rather then doing the teardown and installing them under the intake manifold, I bought two sensors + 2 cables for about $15 a set and installed both of them to the top of the intake manifold and rerouted the cables. Engine run better than it had in years and Pass California smog. There are workarounds on this on YouTube **Q: What knock sensor and harness kit is compatible with 3.3L Nissan Xterra** A: Yes it fits **Q: Does the harness come just with one wire wired on the side you connect he knock sensor?** A: It has connectors on both sides. so it can be used as an extension. **Q: Will this fit on a 2004 Nissan Exterra?** A: I read that all Nissans of that era used this sensor. I used 2 on a 2002 Infinity Q45 v8 and it runs fine and passed California Smog. OEM QUALITY *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 2, 2021* Used for Nissan Frontier/Xterra 3.3 vg33 knock sensor relocation. Check YouTube for the tutorials. Pretty easy fix to a common problem on the Nissan 3.3 V6 engines. Takes about 5 minutes to complete. After the swap, no issues and it runs much better. Other common issues related ate the TPS, MAF, and the IACV so if you are having issues with your 3.3 look into those also. Sometimes one code is caused by another issues. Random misfire, knock, transmission codes, all can be related to these three sensors. Instead of paying a mechanic hundreds/thousands.
