They aren't thick enough and you can feel the heat when you pull something out of the oven.  Not  hot enough to burn you, but I've never had oven mitts that are this thin

These look nice and cover a good bit of your arm. But I don’t dawdle when taking pans out of the oven, you can feel the heat through them pretty quick.
