Based on the reviews and the sizing instructions, we went with the 3XL (he normally wears a large-tall). The measurements given for the product were accurate, the coat looks just like the picture, and the quality seems fine. He went with this coat over all others because he wanted a jacket that could be washed and would not be itchy. This one fits the bill.I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because the fit is a bit weird, at least for American standards. It's not particularly slim-fit through the chest and waist, but (like other reviewers noted), it's tighter than you'd expect through the armpit and bicep. Also, the sleeves are shorter than you'd expect (although they match the description, so that's not a fault with the jacket). The length of the jacket is fine (pretty much as pictured).Overall, great jacket, but be sure you know your measurements and what to expect before you order! Also, it's a lightweight jacket. The jacket fits just perfect. It has a slim fit that's for sure. I can do without the draw string around the waist. I don't see why I would button up, and have this tied around my waist. I also definitely would not wear this for the harsh winters of New York, Minneapolis or any where that is cold cold. It's just not thick enough for that kind of winter weather.
