The motion detector would catch my movement at about 10 feet and provides bright light to help me find the keyhole easily in the middle of the night. The only minor drawback I've noticed is that the battery might drain out if I set the light on constant dim-light mode, especially if the morning was a cloudy day, but I blame it to the lack of sunlight rather than the unit itself. Overall, this unit gave me exactly what I was looking for, and I'd highly recommend if you are looking for a reliable motion detection light. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bright and good looking *by L***B on Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2020* I have no light in my backyard, so I decided to add some solar lights. These are really bright and do a great job of lighting up the area. They allow me to use the yard after dark and without spending tons of money on a electrician. They also look nicer than your average solar light with their 3 dimensional shape. I actually had one that was not working and the customer service was excellent. They got a new one out to me asap. The only downside is I wish they stayed on a little longer then they do after detecting motion. They turn off pretty quickly once you are out of the viewing area. Its within seconds. One stays lit all night on dim and goes bright with motion as I set them, the other only stays lit about 3 hours on dim, both charged for a few days in the same place, no difference in charging them. The bad one also doesn't hold the setting. I set them both to be dim and then bright with motion, tested a few times going into the area, but the next day one is completely shut off and the other works fine. I did the button and reset and tested again, the next night it was off again. I'm glad I didn't mount these up high yet because I wouldn't have been able to reset it every day.
