Using the stirrups, and pushing down on them, it makes it go forward, then release or take your feet lightly off & letting your bottom go up, you continue “riding”. It has a definite up & down forward motion. You may turn it with the handles on the head. Once they “get” the rhythm, they will be happy! It’s really fun!!! , **Q: Would this work on carpet?** A: Yes, PonyCycle horse could be rode on thin carpet without any problem. For thick carpet, it would need more strength to push the pedals. **Q: can it be ridden on carpet inside?** A: I think it would have to be a rather smooth, tight-knit carpet. Otherwise there might be too much drag. We have only wood floors. ## Frequently Bought Together - Pony Cycle Kids Riding Toys Horse Ride-on Pony Rider (with Brake/ 36" Height/Size 4 for Age 4-8) Riding Walking Horse Toy Plush Giddyup Boys & Girls for Indoor & Outdoor Rocking Animal Brown Ux426 - PonyCycle Ride on Horse Cowboy Brown Reins fit for Model X Size 3 and Model U/E Size 3 & 4 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/150864283-ponycycle-kids-ride-on-horse-toys-for-boys-black-mechanical](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/150864283-ponycycle-kids-ride-on-horse-toys-for-boys-black-mechanical) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
