I received the product broken. The "blade" was cracked at the pivot point of the knife. When I opened the knife to check it out the blade fell out. The blade isn't sharp which is ok being new. I however doubt a practical ability to sharpen the blade without breaking it.Your better off having a rock and a utility blade glued together and call it survival gear.I go off of customer product ratings with my purchases. I suppose I was expecting something a bit more rugged. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Would recommend to others (But be aware of the size) *by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on October 10, 2014* Pros:-unlike the other two, when I received my own it was in brand new condition, not chipped or broken. the blade is definitely sharp so ill give it that-and yes in the closed position it did work as a good striker AND scraper for my magnesium block.-it's small and will fit well on a keychain.Cons:-its ALOT smaller than I expected and what was advertised as, i knew it would be handheld but not infant handheld.Conclusion, I gave it 3 stars because of the size of the overall product, if it were beefed up about half an inch longer and quarter inch wider (which would still fit well on any keychain) Id order one for all of my Go-Bags.
