These pads are little miracle workers. They are worth every single penny. I know its another added expense but what I was spending in laundry detergent, time, and sanity I would purchase these at twice their price. We have not had any leakage since we started putting these in our guys diaper at night. I was also a little worried about how they would hold up with that much pee in them. Would they start to disintegrate or become "yucky" feeling to him. Not at all. They sort of just mesh in with his diaper once they get wet. I would recommend going up a size. For example our guy wears a size 5 diaper and we bought the 4-6/2T-5T and they work really well. We started with a size 4 (as some had recommended) and that wasn't enough. We also sized up in our night time diaper. All I know for sure is that I owe these little inserts my life! Is that why 28 in pkg instead of 30?** A: Yes. :) We designed these booster pads to be 20% more absorbent than our booster pads without adhesive. **Q: When you put these in a pull-up (3 year old boy, heavy nighttime wetter) do you recommend laying it vertical (like a maxi pad) or horizontal?** A: This should be placed inside the pull up, running the length, like a maxi pad. You might want to think about a traditional nighttime diaper, plus the sposie pad if your little one is still wetting so heavily in the night. I don’t think pull-ups were designed to hold enough to get you through a very wet night. They’re typically transitional. Hopefully your little one won’t balk at a diaper for bedtime if he’s using the “big boy” pull ups now. Good luck! Potty training can be tiresome! **Q: I positioned pad vertically all the way up front, but he woke up middle of night with an even worse leak - mainly through the legs; help?** A: Could be the diaper wasn't tight around the legs? I always pull the fringe around the legs out once the diaper is on to make sure they are adequately around my little dude's legs, booster pad or not. It also seems the pad needs to be positioned more toward the front for boys. I usually place them about ½"-1" below the waistband. Also, make sure the fringe isn't getting stuck to the adhesive or trapped under the pad. Pull the fringe out and turn the diaper completely inside out before adhering to make sure it's flat and not folded up below the pad. If it's got a fold below the pad, the leg openings will not be closed as tightly, allowing leaks from the leg holes.
