It took my engineer son about 45 minutes to unpack, read the directions and assemble it.The directions say it must be placed against a wall and secured with the strap supplied, but I do not have small children in my family. I placed it in front of a window for my plants. With the heavier items lower, it is not tippy. All the supports make it very sturdy and the metal finish is perfect. My son had no trouble installing the screws, but it did take some force and he said I would have trouble screwing them in as I am a small person. It is a beautiful piece and I would recommend it. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Screws Too Small *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2020* I bought this bookcase because of the price and the 4.6 rating on Amazon. I should've looked at reviews elsewhere. If I had, I would have discovered that the holes made for the screws are not compatible with the screws they send you. The screws are too big for the holes. I am going to try and buy some smaller screws and see if that works. Otherwise, there is absolutely no way this bookcase will be put together. It is currently sitting unfinished in my office due to the poor design.The gold color is also a little different than I expected. It's more of a matte tan color rather than a shiny metallic gold. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!
