It’s noticeably brighter and I have found it to be the best performing and longest lasting compared to all the others. I have purchased other lamps in the past that don’t do this at all. I even had one that didn’t even come with screws to install it the right length. These lamps are always consistent and super easy to install. You just unscrew the 2 screws of the lamp that you are changing, pull straight up on the little handle and put the new one in by inserting it gently and pressing down until you feel it click in and screw the 2 screws and you screw the lamp door back on and then you’re back in business! This one never changes color, it just gets more dim. It doesn’t make your projector louder or anything at all, either. Make sure you get the yellow lamp box and you will know to always reorder this and get this box. Put the old lamp in the new box and LABEL IT as used and the date you changed out the old lamp. Don’t make the same mistake I did and put in an old lamp! ### ⭐ Died ~1 year *by R***L on May 11, 2024* This is for the LP54. Worked fine with my epson 705hd but died barely a year after purchase. My original bulb lasted over 10 years. Sadly, Epson doesn't seem to make bulbs anymore or I would gladly pay 3x the price of the cheap ones for what came with my projector. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Installed in less than 3 minutes....works like a charm *by W***Y on July 31, 2023* I have an Epson Home Cinema 4010 and my original lamp was over 3x the life expectancy and I had started to notice fading and I wanted to avoid an outage. Lamps are not easy to find and less so lamps that are good quality. Of course I can't speak about the longevity of this lamp yet as I only just installed it (but I will certainly update this review if it dies before its time). I am very happy. It is not an Epson lamp (as far as I can tell) but the picture quality is crisp and clear and the colors are fresher than they were. Very happy with this lamp. It wasn't the cheapest one on here (by a long shot) but it does what it is supposed to do so far and that matters more than buying one of those cheap lamp alternatives. I will buy my next lamp from this supplier in a few years when this one goes.
