I do most of my riding in the bike lanes of Memphis Tn.  Here, bike lanes are more the broken glass and nails than they are for bikes, so it is essential to have a good thick tire.  These do the trick and still roll nicely.

Good for the price but not at protecting tubes. I commute about 12 miles a day 5 days a week on paved and gravel. I go thru a Tube about every two weeks. Replacing tubes with these thin tires is not an easy task. If you are just a weekend rider I'd say these are good but for everyday riders save yourself the trouble and go with freedom thick slicks kind of slippery but will save you countless tubes
