## Description

Real time/24x7 safety & high fuel economy - EezTire TPMS system by EEZ RV Products is the industry leader in the RV TPMS market since 2005. It accurately monitors tire pressure and temperature for up to 26 tires and handle tire pressure up to 210 psi. EezTire TPMS system gives you peace of mind 24 x 7 when you are on the road or off the road. Maintaining proper tire pressure at all times ensures vehicle safety and helps achieve desired fuel economy. Advanced technology alert system - the monitor is motion sensitive and monitors tire pressure and temperature on 6-second intervals continuously. It sends visual and audio warning alarms immediately when tire pressure or temperature falls outside the preset safety parameters. The monitor goes into power saving mode if no motion is detected in 15 minutes to save battery. The sensors send status signals to the monitor on 6-second intervals continuously as long as the sensors are under pressure, so your tires are monitored 24 x 7. Easy operation & maintenance - EezTire TPMS monitor has one of the largest display screen on the market 4 ½” x 3”. It takes minutes to setup and program. The monitor has a built-in rechargeable internal lithium battery that lasts up to 60 hours on a charge. Sensors have replaceable batteries. It comes with a common USB charging cord that can be connected to vehicle’s cigarette lighter or USB port. Multipurpose - TPMS monitor has separate controls for RV and trailer sensors which allows owner to turn off trailer control when driving RV only. The monitor can be programmed with anti-theft sensors or flow-through sensors or different combinations of both sensors to meet the needs of different tires. A booster can be added to boost signal and overcome distance and electromagnetic interference challenges. A basic TPMS system starts with 4 sensors (TPMS4) and could go up to 26 sensors (TPMS26).

Review: Brings us peace of mind! - We decided to get this because we were traveling last month and had a blowout...but we didn't even know it! Had it not been for a passerby on the interstate that flagged us down, we may never have known until severe damage was done to our rig. (Fortunately, everything was fine.) We've been RVing (with a travel trailer) at least twice a month for almost 4 years now and had never had a blowout before this incident. That was a wakeup call for us and I started doing research on TPMS units as soon as I climbed back into the truck after we changed said blown tire. The reviews, features, and price of this one impressed us most, and so far we've been very happy. We've only had it for less than two weeks now but we just returned from using it in a 400-mile round-trip...through Florida storms. It worked flawlessly, despite interstate speeds, high heat and humidity, and crazy downpours. It cycles frequently, so it's very comforting to be able to view the pressure and temperature changes in real time. We tow a 29-foot TT with a crew-cab Ram Laramie and there was never a hiccup in reception. Even after we initially set it up (which was EXTREMELY easy to do) we were able to bring the unit into our house and view the tire pressures and temperatures from inside our concrete-block house from at least 50 feet away from the rig. We're definitely recommending it to our friends. Speaking of friends, one of our RVing friends purchased an entirely different brand of TPMS unit about 2 years ago and paid at least twice as much. After seeing ours and researching it himself, he feels like he was taken and believes we got the better-quality item, despite the price difference.
Review: If you tow a trailer, you need this system! - Dislikes: Anti-theft would barely be a deterrent. Spin on covers can be spun off by hand and the transmitter then removed. No tooling needed. If there was a small screw / pin that could only be removed / installed while the transmitter was off the stem, that would be ideal for security, but would add to weight and likely size, and make it harder to install without bleeding off pressure. I am not concerned about the theft of them, but thought this should be known. Likes: Easy set up; linking transmitters to reader, setting pressure and temperature limits. I loved the knowledge that I was able to "see" what was happening behind me the entire 4700 miles on a trip I was just on. While at a rest area, I showed my system to a fellow RV'r who was changing a flat that was completely shredded. Luckily for him there was no trailer damage, but I was surprised there was not at the condition of the remains. I do not know if his rim was useable, but it might not have been. On my return trip home, I had 2 flats on my trailer, in two consecutive days. The first flat my EezTire display started beeping and indicated a rapid pressure loss. I pulled over and there was still air in the tire, coming out. Extremely short time that the 2nd tire on that side had to shoulder the whole load of half of the trailer weight. Was able to install the spare, move the transmitter to the spare and monitor it and the other 3 to a place where the tire was replaced. The next day I was in 98° temps, and my high temp alarm alerted me when a different tire exceeded 108°. Shortly after that the pressure alarm alerted me that pressure was dropping. Pulled over and indeed it was going flat, installed the spare, placed transmitter and proceeded to a tire shop to have new tires installed all around. Temps were still showing 108° on the two originals, so I stopped and let a few PSI out to help them stay together for the 40 miles needed, and reduced speed while monitoring. Reached a tire shop and put 4 new tires on the trailer and moved the newest one to the spare. I realize I should have better inspected the tires prior to my trip, but my EezTire system bailed me out. It allowed me to not have to replace my original wheels, repair damage to the underside of the trailer, or possibly leave me stranded on the side of the road when I could have had two flats on the one side if I had continued to tow with essentially one tire. Loss of signal happened on occasion (Yukon XL with 31' Ultralight TT, no booster, reader was sometimes sitting on my center console, sometimes window mounted). When signal is lost, the reader emits a short beep each time that tire info should be displayed. I power cycled the reader each time and allowed it to find the 4 transmitters again, with no beeps while searching. I found higher on my window (better line of sight) helped reduce signal loss. I will not tow my trailer again without a working EezTire TPMS. Money very well invested in my opinion.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I am pulling a 36-foot 5th wheel behind a long-bed pickup. Will the sensors have enough "transmit" range, or do I also need a "repeater"?**
A: We have a travel trailer that is 35' from the tongue to the back, that we tow behind our Yukon XL 2500. The range is fine. Being that ours is a tow-behind and your question is about a 5th wheel, I think it is safe to say the distance from the monitor in the cab to the tire sensors is farther than what you will end up with so my guess is that you will be OK.

**Q: I have a factory install on my ram can I just extend it to include my TT ?**
A: You can use our system on anything that you are towing including cars with factory installed TPMS systems. They do not conflict.

**Q: Hello, question for eez tire tech support regarding the color monitor. users complain about the dim color displays. did you upgrade your product?**
A: The 518c is an upgrade to the E618 system. Keep in mind that the new 518c system monitor is easer to see in bright light. The 518c sensors and monitor is not compatible with older T518 T515 or E618 systems.

**Q: I have a small trailer and only need 2 sensors is it possible to purchase only 2 sensors and the monitor?**
A: Probably if you contacted the company directly

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Update!!!
*by J***S on August 20, 2021*

Works great. Installed in our truck easy set up. We have a 40 foot RV, didn't need a booster. Great price! Great product! Update# Thought it was working all this time. No. A waste of money! It was definitely giving some tire pressure, we lost the whole wheel and drum. Never knew it. Still registered tire pressure. Still haven't found the tire. Somewhere in the dessert. Had to be flagged down by other drivers to let us know we lost tire, rim, drum.
