I like the lights because they are recharged by connecting to a USB port, and they have BOTH a spotlight and lantern function. Both the spot and lantern light functions are acceptably bright. In addition, I was pleasantly surprised to find the lights in a padded compact (weather resistant) case with a short USB cable. The light and USB cable can be kept in the case, making both items easy to store and find in the glove box or elsewhere in my vehicles. Very satisfied with the price, quality, and function of these flashlights. Haven't owned them long enough to comment on long term reliability. (Photo shows the light - being charged - and the case. These 5 star reviews are ridiculous and misleading. This is not a "waterproof" flashlight as advertised. There are no silicone/rubber seals--the USB port is exposed. Ditto with the case. It's probably a mistranslation for "water resistant" which is what most Chinese products advertised on Amazon use. (Same with the use of "tactical" to make it sound rugged.)For what it's worth, the not-waterproof case has a sticker saying it's, "explosion-proof," so yay? Something I pay for isn't designed to kill me?Besides the USB port, the lens cap is threaded to the body, so good luck with water intrusion when outdoors. The instructions say green = charged, but it's actually a blue LED.Further, the battery life on these are horrible. The side "lantern" lasts about an hour.
