A: Yes you can wood burn our treasure boxes or paint with acrylic paint, stain with any wood stain, etc.

**Q: Lock size - would a lock with a 1/4 inch lock width fit in the lock portion of this box?**
A: No 1/4 is to large. The best would be 1/8

**Q: What are the inside dimensions of this chest?**
A: The inside of the chest measures approx 2-3/8"L x 4-1/4"W x 2-1/2"H (to arched top)

**Q: Do you have a site where i can see unfinished wood products? I am near Tampa.**
A: I got these years ago for my kids at work. They were a very well made product. Hope this helps.

I ordered 24 boxes total. They all arrived in good shape. Nice smooth surfaces for painting. Clasp is a bit weak, but overall good quality and size for the money!
