Fortunately, the lower settings are still plenty bright and will save battery life. I had problems with the light not working after being charged. The supplier sent me another light and I had the same issue, but it turned out the light has a Locked setting which is very strange. The flashing "L" is easily misunderstood as low as in out of power. It turns out if you press the on/off button 5 times it unlocks and you are back in business. With that information, I've upgraded my rating to 5 stars.
