It has its own functions and does different things during certain games. The Wii Remote controller is the primary means of controlling the console and, by and large, I haven’t used the nunchuck in some while. **Q: Will this work for the wii? I have the old wii** A: Worked on my old wii if that helps. **Q: Can't get them to sync** A: There is a little red button should be on the bottom of the remotes at the back. Works as intended ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ good controllers to use for Wii *by S***. on 7 December 2025* Went through a phase with my family playing wii bowling so these were a must. Worked really well and had good battery life. They were easy to control and the quality was good. They look just like the original and worked really well. I would recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fairly Decent and works for Emulation *by J***N on 3 March 2025* Important: You cannot save Miis to these kinds of controllers, and these cannot be used for emulation without a dedicated Bluetooth adapter (from my experience)! Differences: They mostly control the same, these have drift comparable to the original motion plus accessory. This one's speaker is very louder and crispier than the speaker of the original remote. The pointer has a smaller horizontal field of view and is placed slightly higher than the original Wii remote's, but that isn't an issue if you don't care about it. Sometimes it can be a pain to connect but I sometimes experience that with the originals too. I am able to use both these and original Wii remotes simultaneously without issues. The buttons feel a bit stiffer, but that is to be expected, and the remote overall feels lighter, however the silicon cover provided does feel a bit different and cheap and the one I was provided had a tiny string of excess rubber hanging off that I had to snip.
