If you need more strength, this is not the puncher for you. It’s a little weak, even on the strongest setting, but it was perfect for what I needed it for. It did take some finesse operating it. For instance, you can’t just push straight down, you have to angle it then apply pressure holding the nail in its place while you raise it to the upright position. Then it will punch nicely. Otherwise the impact nail doesn’t impact the metal. Seems like the insides don’t line up correctly. But I still got it to work. ### ⭐ Non-functional! *by A***D on Reviewed in the United States on November 16, 2019* I followed the directions on the description page, but could not get the punch to work. Finally, I unscrewed the body to remove the internal parts, and discovered that 2 internal parts were missing: the Impact Hammer and the Carbon Steel Spring! The package was sealed when I received it, so how in the heck can internal working parts be missing? Sturdy but prefer a T-handle for grip strength since you have to really push to punch through something.
