I don't typically do a lot of makeup day-to-day so these were used with my skin cleansers. They're alright.The pads aren't particularly soft. They are two separate pieces of round fabric sewn together. So when you try to rub or wipe across your skin, the fabric kind of rolls up on itself. One side kind of sticks to your skin and the other side keeps sliding until it's rolled. Might be better off with something more solid or filled in the middle.I don't see any damage to my skin, though. My skin is fair and sensitive, so just about everything makes it breakout or get all pink. Not these, and they've survived a few rounds in the washing machine already. I just throw them in the included bag and drop it in with my not-so-dirty clothes on a speed cycle. I let them air dry.
