However, my daughter had these at the top of her birthday list, so I decided to splurge and go for it. Oh. My. Word. Am I ever glad I did!! She's barely taken these off! She's worn them almost daily since September, and still thinks they're the greatest things ever. I took her to a store to guage sizing ahead of time, and ended up getting the next size up from what she was wearing at the time. Whether because she's growing so fast, or these run a little large, I'm not quite sure, but they fit her perfectly when they arrived. I ordered through Amazon because they had the best price out of all the online sites and storefronts I checked out. The quality is great, they still look brand new despite being worn non-stop for the past three months. I do wish they would send a couple of extra "caps" for the wheel wells with the shoes, but I'm sure I could find some to buy if I looked. My daughter sometimes has a hard time keeping track of those, although she's had no problems wearing the shoes to school with the wheels out and no caps on them. Out of all the things I've bought my children for gifts just to watch them lose interest within a couple of weeks, I really have to say this is the best money I've ever spent. Since the heelie is based on a sneaker design I went for the size six. However they sent me a size 7. Storage enough the size7 was perfect.
