Enter beeswax wrap: seals with the warmth of your hand; does not make slimy spots where item touches edge; makes a tidy package; the roll means I can cut to fit.Downside? A couple. I can’t label the wrap with my handy china marker, unless I’m dedicating that piece to that product forever (not a problem when it’s cheese, since we buy the same kinds over and over). And I worry that β€œwashing” the wrap will ruin the beeswax. Not anymore though! We've been trying to reduce our plastic use and as I was researching I stumbled upon this and it's amazing! It works just as well as cling wrap, and since it comes in a roll, I can make each sheet as big or small as I want it to be! So far I've used it on homemade bread and a pie and honestly it works better on the bread than cling wrap ever did! It doesn't leave a residue that I've noticed and we've had no problem with it slipping off or coming unstuck. Cleaning is really easy, but drying was kind of a pain until we just started hanging it up in the laundry room.
