Am I doing something wrong?** A: We've got two identical radios of this type. In both cases we only use mains power (no batteries) and, if the radio is completely switched off, when it is next switched on again the clock initially shows 00:00 for literally a second or two before resetting itself at the correct time. It presumably picks this up from the radio signals. There is never any need to manually set the clock. Incidentally, with one of our radios we always completely switch it off from the mains when it's not in use and there's never been a problem with it remembering the stations that we've stored in the pre-sets. Presumably it has some kind of 'flash' memory in which this information is stored. **Q: my display has gone faint i can hardly see it? i use my dab on mains ..help please** A: My display has also failed, unfortunately out of warranty **Q: Maybe a daft question..but is there the capability to save presets as I have looked at the buttons and cannot see a preset button.Thank you** A: I'm sorry, I was so disappointed in this radio, I don't remember the button layout. The sound quality is the best I've heard from a DAB Radio, the speaker is nicely built and gives great high and low end responses, there's a nice balance between the bass and treble. The radio is easily portable with a neat leatherette handle and the radio has a great, well built retro appearance.
