**Q: If you're just using it for an embroidery hoop and not quilting do you have to wash it? I saw another post that said you shouldn't wash pre-cut fabric**
A: I use pinking shears to trim the cut edges and pre-wash before sewing it.  If you intend to wash the finished project, it's my opinion that the fabric does shrink slightly after washing.  Since it is 100% cotton, it also wrinkles and requires a hot steam iron to remove wrinkles.  Shrinkage might be similar to using Aida cloth for cross stitching.

**Q: can you do  Embroidery on this fabric?**
A: Absolutely, yes, you can do embroidery on this fabric.

**Q: Is this fabric machine washable?**
A: Kona cotton is machine washable.  The manufacturer recommends you machine wash on cold and tumble dry on low.

**Q: Would this fabric be good for making a stuffed doll that will have hand embroidery on it?**
A: Yes, the Kona fabric will be lovely for making the doll and for embroidery. Enjoy
