I didn't know this until I built a pen with it. The next one will be even better. Review: Just the color I was looking for. - Turned these blanks into fly rod grips for my wife and daughter. Working on a matching pair of custom rods and these blanks have fit my needs perfectly. Turned easy enough once I got the hang of it. I would recommend to anyone that plans to turn it down as significantly as I did to round the corners with a bandsaw if you have that available to you. I did not and felt like I was in a hailstorm during the initial turning process. But the final product is perfect for my application and the girls are happy.
