Despite the name and intended 'southern region' use, this works for numbing burns, blisters, cold sores, abrasions -- anything you want to numb. (don't use it in your mouth or eyes, as per the warning label). It's thicker so stays on better. Smear it on kind of thick for max relief. I recommend that you avoid the lip area because it can get pretty numb. I got some on my upper lip by accident and almost immediately I test the numbing. I also recommend that you wait at least 15 minutes before rolling so that you give it enough to I me to work.
