Didn't know about these until recently when my wifi was too slow upstairs in the house. Googled it and found this thing. In short, I tested the wifi about 10 times in the same spot. Went from around 10-15mbps download speeds to now (with the range extender installed) I'm up to 90mbps. Works awesome!
