Shorn from the Angora goat, the rich luster, soft hand and industry-leading durability of this precious fiber provides JOSEPH NOBLE MUSEUM MOHAIR with its highly distinctive, lasting qualities. With its affinity for dyes, MUSEUM MOHAIR elevates color to an unmatched clarity and a halo-like glow. It does not crush, mat or pill. Dust and dirt are easily brushed off. Valued for its flame resistance and high sound absorbency, it is ideal for both public installations as well as private residences. MUSEUM MOHAIR is a traditional non-directional pile velvet mohair. Engineered and produced at one of Europe's oldest and most respected mills. Upholsters beautifully for home, office, education, commercial, worship, and hospitality projects.Fabric width: 54 inches. Composition: 100% mohair velvet. Abrasion rated Medium Duty at 50,000 double rubs. Passes Cal-117 flammability test. Can be treated to pass NFPA 701 (Small Scale) for contract drapery.
