For years, I used the Tortex Fins, but they have become harder to find, for some reason. On top of that, it seems that the Tortex pick texture has changed a bit over the years.On the other hand, the Cortex picks feel like how I remember the Tortex feeling, texture-wise. The profile of the picks are great, as well. Am comfortable using these for either strumming or picking.Tone-wise, they are pretty standard. My ears couldn't really tell the difference between similar picks, so it comes down to feel for me. They definitely have a sharper tonal quality than my stone picks, but that is also as expected.
