Paints are OK but I had to get new brushes but that’s par for the course with almost everything that’s paint by numbers. This one is really pretty and I would highly recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Really beautiful! *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2021* This was such a fun project to do during quarantine. I read some reviews for pointers before starting, especially regarding the canvas. First, you have to carefully use an iron to get the folds out of the canvas.Place it upside down and place a thin towel on top to iron so you don’t burn the canvas. I used the steam setting. It’s a nice quality canvas, nice and thick.Once the folds are gone, it makes painting much easier.While painting, I didn’t leave the paint container opened, I would hold the lid closed with one hand while painting with the other, it prevents drying of the color.I decided to change a few things in the design while I was painting which made it more fun, I added my own touches.Overall, I’m super happy with the finished product and already have my next one ready to go. IMO, this one is not for the very young beginner, it’s pretty intricate. It's got lots of detail and small painting parts which takes a while to do but I would put on a documentary to listen too then paint away. Really relaxing and takes your mind off of normal life stress.Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was I ran out of #1, #10, #11, #12, #14 paints. I was very causious to use the least amount of paint possible while painting. I even added water to make them go further but still ran out. These colors were only 1/2 full where the colors what are rarely used for the whole painting, they came full. The colors I ran out of, should come with 2 full pots so it can be completed without running out. I had to go buy an acrylic paint set to mix up those colors to finish it which was annoying as it should come with enough paint to finish it. I also bought a white acrylic paint marker to hide the numbers and lines under the light colors so I didn't have to repaint over them.
