It supports my Kendal so I don’t have to grip it all the time. I put a small pillow in my lap and put the holder on the pillow so it’s up closer to my eyes. Both the holder and my Kendal case are fabric, so my Kendal doesn’t slide around and it stays in place. It’s just the right size and weight to hold my Kendal or cell phone so I don’t get cramps in my hand from gripping while using. May not seem important to some, but I have carpal tunnel and can’t hold things in the same position for very long without loosing grip strength and experiencing pain. It’s made of foam and fabric, so it may not be sturdy or stable enough for some users, but I wasn’t looking for something hard or heavy, just something to sit my Kendal on so I didn’t have to grip it all the time. The cover is fitted and can be removed for cleaning. This holder serves my needs perfectly.
