The length on the first pair was fine but I had this pinching across the top of my foot as if the size was too small. I returned and exchanged for a 9.5 wide. The heel seemed loose at first but no more pinching. The heel lift is easy fixed but lacing all the way to the top hole which seems to be one or two more than a typical shoe but it really does provide a better/more secure fit. Cushioning is great and they seem to be wearing well.
