I did 225lb hip thrusts and barely felt the bar on my hip bones. My IPR fitness pad has lasted me for a few years now and has gone through a lot of workouts. The hipthrust is my main lift for glutes since I can't squat due to limitations.The shape is very comfortable and protects the most sensitive area for me during the lift, my hip bones. The flaired parts lifts the bar away from the sensitive pelvic area.You can pay $10-$20 bucks for a pad that won't last, like I have several times, or just pay once for this. This is the best and longest lasting hipthrust pad I ever bought.
